New Delhi: In the wake of coranavirus pandemic, Indian Youth Congress members donated blood, on Saturday, to meet an emergency requirement of blood all over the country, raised by various blood banks which are facing crisis due to lockdown.
Due to urgent need of blood for Thalassemia as well as Dialysis patients, at the time of nationwide lockdown, Youth Congress received requests from various blood banks for donation of blood as it has become need of the hour. IYC organized a Blood Donation Camp, on Saturday, at it's headquarters on Raisina Road, New Delhi.

IYC President Shrinivas BV said, "In this urgent need of time, Youth Congress stands with the nation, in providing help and support to every individual, in every way possible. Even during lockdown, IYC members have come forward and donated blood for meeting emergency needs in various states like Maharashtra, Kerala etc."
IYC is also running a 24×7 Community kitchen at their offices in each state of the country to feed the vulnerable people during this time of crisis. Preventive measures for COVID-19 are also being ensured during the distribution of food by Youth Congress workers.
