Srinagar: Killing of security personnel in the IED blast in Mendhar area along the Line of Control is reportedly denied by the Defence Ministry on Wednesday.
The Defence Ministry Spokesperson clarified that it was not an IED blast, but a training-related incident.
As per the Defence Ministry, "no fatal casualties have been reported during the training, but one soldier was seriously injured while many other suffered minor injuries in the incident that took place along Line of Control in Poonch sector."
