New Delhi: The Union Home Ministry on Wednesday asked central intelligence agencies to keep a close watch on all Islamic organisations across India, having Turkish connection.
The development took place after different intelligence agencies have sent a report to the Home Ministry stating that Jihadi Islamic organisations of Turkey are plotting to spread hatred in India.
Quoting intelligence report, a senior official in the Home Ministry told ETV Bharat that Islamic organisations provoking clerics and Islamist people in India saying that Muslims in India are not safe and they are threatened by Hindus.
The report further said that Islamic organisation like 'Turkey Diyanet Foundation' keeps inviting clerics and Islamist people from India, Nepal and other countries to Turkey.

Turkey Diyanet Foundation is a frontal organisation of Turkish government's directorate of religious affairs.
The report compiled by the central intelligence agencies assumes much more significance as India and Turkey have recently witnessed war of words over Kashmir.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan who was in Pakistan recently said that Turkey would support Pakistan's effort to get out of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) grey list in Paris.
President Erdogan further said that Turkey will support Pakistan on Kashmir.
The FATF had its meeting in Paris on Monday where Turkey and Malaysia have reportedly supported Pakistan helping it to narrowly escaped from being blacklisted by the intergovernmental organisation.
The intergovernmental organisation is investigating Pakistan on terror financing. On February 21, it will decide whether Pakistan has taken adequate steps required to check financing charges.
