Panaji (GOA): An IndiGo flight bound for Ahmedabad with around 180 passengers on Monday returned to Goa airport due to some technical snag, an official said. The flight with around 180 passengers on-board landed safely at Dabolim airport here.
According to Goa airport spokesperson, an IndiGo Goa-Ahmedabad flight returned due to some technical snag today.
Flight 6E162 took off at 3:50 pm from Goa for Ahmedabad with 180 passengers. Around 200 kms into the flight, the pilot noticed a malfunction alert in the right engine,” said a source at Goa airport.
"The flight landed safely at 4:45 pm and all the passengers are safe. As per procedure, DGCA has been informed of the incident,” said an official.
