1. PM Modi to address nation through 'Mann Ki Baat' today
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation through his monthly radio programme 'Mann Ki Baat' today. "Tune in at 11 AM tomorrow. #MannKiBaat," PM Modi tweeted. Earlier on October 10, Prime Minister Modi had invited suggestions from the people, for the 70th edition of the programme.
2. Rajnath to perform 'shastra pooja' at Sikkim border today
The Defence Minister will perform a 'shastra pooja' (arms worship) at Sherathang area along the India-China border today morning. Singh is on a two-day visit to Sikkim and arrived at the Sukna-based HQ of 33 Corps or 'Trishakti' Corps on Saturday afternoon.

4. Lucknow banks, civic bodies to remain open today

5. Maha govt permits gyms and fitness centres to reopen from today
Easing further into Unlock 5.0, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday announced that gyms and fitness centres will be allowed to reopen from Dussehra, which will be celebrated today this year. The CM further added that these centres must adhere to SoPs.
