1. ICAI to inform SC regarding its exam notification today
The Supreme Court has asked the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) to submit an affidavit by Monday on a PIL challenging the option of opt out scheme from exams which are to be conducted from 29th July and 16th August.
2. Centre and states to submit response on foreign Tablighi Jamaatis' plea today
The Centre and states will submit their response to a plea filed by foreign Tablighi Jamaat workers who attended a religious congregation at Nizamuddin Markaz (centre) in March and were booked for violating tourist visa norms, seeking to remove them from the blacklist and transport them back to their countries.

4. Fuel price hike: Congress to hold nationwide protest today
With diesel price being on a record high in Delhi and petrol on a two-year high, the opposition Congress has planned a nationwide protest on Monday to protest against the fuel price hike. Since the daily price revision resumed on June 7, the petrol price has increased ₹9.12 and diesel rose by ₹11.01 a litre each in Delhi.
5. Western railway to add 40 additional services on Mumbai Suburban section from today
The Western Railway (WR) said on Sunday that it will add 40 additional suburban services to the existing 162 services currently plying on the Mumbai Suburban section with effect from June 29. A total of 202 services will now be running on WR's suburban section.
6. Karnataka Cong to hold cycle rally protest against fuel price hike today
To protest against the fuel price hike, Karnataka Congress leader DK Shivakumar said that the party will be taking out a cycle rally on June 29. Earlier, in Madhya Pradesh, Congress leader Digvijaya Singh along with his party leaders took out a cycle march to protest against the continuous surge in fuel prices.
7. Rajasthan Board to conduct remaining 10th examination from today
Supreme Court has dismissed the plea filed by a student's parent seeking cancellation of remaining board exams for class 10 which are scheduled to be conducted on 29th and 30th June. The top court also stated that there have been no positive cases were located in the examination centres in the last one month. It also said that the state government is taking all due precaution to ensure students' safety.
8. Complete lockdown to be observed in Guwahati for 14 days from today
In view of the increasing number of COVID-19 cases, a complete lockdown would be enforced in Guwahati for the next 14 days beginning today. The state witnessed a sharp surge in new coronavirus patients in the last ten days.
