New Delhi: The government launched a separate Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) to secure donations for its fight against COVID-19 as the global pandemic poses a “never-before challenge.” The PM's care fund has collected more than Rs. 6500 crore in the last one week after the Ministry of Human Resource Development contributed more than Rs. 38.91 crore so far.
Several institutions/autonomous organizations and departments of the Ministry of Human Resource Development have given more than Rs 38.91 crores to the PM Cares Fund in this fight against COVID-19.
Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has appreciated the efforts of all these institutions and organizations.
Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank himself has also donated his one month salary and Rs 10,000,000 from his MP fund to the PM's Care Fund.
He has been constantly appealing to all the institutions and organizations within the HRD Ministry to donate to the PM Cares Fund.
