Gandhinagar: A primary school teacher in the Kheda city of Gujarat has distributed over 585 hand-made masks to children across neighbouring schools in order to fight the spread of coronavirus.
Hiteshbhai Brahmabhatt works as a teacher in the primary school of Valla village under Kheda district. Further, in 63 days of corona-induced lockdown, he has been making masks for school children with smileys drawn on them.
"The smileys are reminder that we need continue striving hard in this trying times with a big smile on our face. We shouldn't succumb to the distress, it is nothing but a challenge for us to grow stronger. Moreover my students are absolutely happy wearing a mask which has smiley" he said.

"I have been utilising my lockdown period to do something useful for my school children," Hiteshbhai added.
The school teacher also informed that he is now preparing 5,000 such masks to be distributed among the children of 11 neighbouring schools.
