New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Thursday has held that Delhi Government Employees Health Scheme (DGEHS) do not extend to all members of the beneficiary.
The court also noted that DGEHS is a contributory scheme and covers only specified family members.
According to reports, the court also observed that the state has limited resources and medial facilities provided should be based on the resources available.
The petitioner wanted the inclusion of the widowed daughter-in-law and grandchild in the scheme.
However, the court observed that medical care benefits are limited only to such members as specified under the scheme.
