Bulandshahar: As many as eight persons were critically injured, after the SUV they were travelling in, met with an accident near Chanderi area in Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahar on Saturday.
According to sources, the SUV was en route to Muradabad from Rajasthan when the driver lost control over the wheels. As a result, the SUV skidded off the road and overturned.
On being informed, police rushed to the spot and rescued the victims with the help of locals. The injured were then rushed to the hospital. The condition of many injured persons was stated to be critical, sources added.
All the injured persons were working as labourers in Rajasthan and all were from Muradabad and Rampur. They were going to their native places after the nationwide lockdown, sources further added.
