Earthquake hits parts of Northern Bihar

नेपाल में बुधवार सुबह 5 बजकर 4 मिनट पर भूकंप के तेज झटके महसूस किए गए. भूकंप की तीव्रता रिक्टर पैमाने पर 5.4 की थी. इसका केंद्र काठमांडू से 50 किमी पूर्व था. वहीं इसका असर उत्तर बिहार के कई इलाकों में देखने को मिला.

Patna: An earthquake of 5.4 magnitude on the Richter scale hit many districts of northern Bihar on Wednesday morning. However, there were no reports of any casualty or damage to property.

The epicentre of the earthquake was 50 km east of Kathmandu in Nepal.

Panic gripped the residents and they came out on the roads after the tremors.

Earlier, in 2015 earthquake in Nepal caused large scale destruction.
