New Delhi: In a bid to expand India's global outreach, External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar hosted dinner for all heads of mission in New Delhi on Saturday.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) organised dinner was attended by Pakistan's Deputy High Commissioner Syed Haider Shah as well.

According to sources at the MEA, External Affairs Minister Dr Jaishankar spoke about India's foreign policy in the next five years. He had informal chat with many of the envoys as well.

Dr Jaishankar also explained envoys about how India is ready to share global responsibilities and be part of shaping global outcomes.

Foreign policy has been a vital part of the Modi government's agenda. This event further establishes their seriousness towards stepping up engagements with many other countries apart from India's longtime allies.
