New Delhi: Bihar Chief Minister and JD(U) national president Nitish Kumar on Wednesday said that 'poorvanchalis' have contributed tremendously in development of the national capital, and "it belongs to them as well".
Kumar, while reiterating his demand for special status to Bihar, said Delhi should be made a full-fledged state and alcohol must be banned in the city as it has been done in Bihar.
"Delhi belongs to all. People from all states and regions live here," he added.
Kumar said, as has been announced that his party would contest Delhi assembly polls due early next year, decision concerning on how many seats would it fight from and who all would be the candidates for the same, will be taken by the Delhi in charge of the party.
He also inaugurated zonal office of the JD(U) in Delhi.
