Indore reported 419 new COVID-19 cases
Indore reported 419 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, with six more persons succumbing to the virus, the district health department said.
The total number of cases in the district has gone up to 19,937, while the total fatalities have risen to 505. The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Madhya Pradesh is 1,03,065. Currently, there are 21,964 active cases, 79,158 recoveries and 1,943 deaths, the Union Health Ministry said.

Rajasthan government to impose Section 144 in eleven districts
Rajasthan: The Rajasthan government decided to impose Section 144 in eleven districts of the state from Monday in view of rising COVID-19 cases.
Section 144 prohibits the gathering of four or more persons. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said on Sunday that the move to issue prohibitory orders has been done in public interest. The 11 districts are -- Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Ajmer, Alwar, Bhilwara, Bikaner, Udaipur, Sikar, Pali and Nagaur.

Record 26,000 Covid patients cured as Maha tally crosses 12 lakh
Mumbai: Maharashtra's Covid-19 tally on Sunday crossed 12 lakh even as a record 26,408 patients were fully cured and returned home, including a 106-year-old great-grandmother, state Health Minister Rajesh Tope said here.
The state recorded 20,598 new cases - lower than the highest tally of 24,886 - and pushed the total from 11,88,015 to 12,08,642 cases till date. Adding a staggering 455 more fatalities - down from the peak of 515 - the death toll increased from 32,216 to 32,671 now.
The state recovery rate improved for the third consecutive day - from 72.22 per cent to 73.17 per cent - while the current mortality rate stood at 2.07 per cent on Sunday.

New Delhi: India's COVID-19 tally reached 54.88 lakh with 86,961 people being infected in the past 24 hours, while 43,96,399 people have recuperated so far pushing the national recovery rate to 80.12 per cent on Sunday, according to the Union Health Ministry data.
The total coronavirus cases mounted to 54,87,580, while the death toll climbed to 87,882 with the infection claiming 1,130 lives in a span of 24 hours in the country, the data updated at 8 am showed.
The COVID-19 case fatality rate due to coronavirus has further declined to 1.6 per cent. There are 10,03,299 active cases in the country as of now, which comprises 18.28 per cent of the total caseload, the data stated.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a cumulative total of 6,43,92,594 samples have been tested up to September 20, with 7,31,534 samples being tested on Monday.
