COVID-19 India tracker: State-wise report

The total number of COVID-19 cases reported so far in the country stands at 29,974 including 7,026 people who have been cured of the disease and discharged and 937 people who died, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

New Delhi: The total number of positive COVID-19 cases in India reached 29,974 on Tuesday, the Union Health Ministry said.

According to the Health Ministry website, as on April 28 at 05:00 pm, the total number of COVID-19 positive cases stands at 29,974 with 937 deaths. Maharashtra reported the most number of cases at 8,590, followed by Gujarat that reported 3,548 cases.
