New Delhi: With 56 new coronavirus cases in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), the number of confirmed cases in the paramilitary forces rose to 750 on Sunday, a source said.
"56 jawans of Indo-Tibetan Border Police have tested COVID-19 positive in the last 24 hours, all new cases are in Delhi. Total number of COVID-19 cases in ITBP has reached 156," the ITBP said in a statement.
A 33-year-old medical staff member of National Security Guard (NSG), posted in Manesar, also tested coronavirus positive on Sunday. Officials said the person was posted at the NSG hospital and has now been admitted to the referral hospital of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) in Greater Noida.

On Sunday, the Border Security Force (BSF) reported 8 fresh cases of COVID-19. "This takes the force's tally of confirmed cases to 276, the highest among paramilitary forces," an official said.
The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) saw one new case from 238 battalion, making the total count of infected people in the force to 236, of which one is dead and two have recovered.
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) recorded 18 new cases in last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases in the force to 64 whereas, the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has reported a total of 18 confirmed cases so far.
