In an effort to fight against Covid-19, ETV Bharat brings a list of precautions for ATM cash withdrawal. It's important to undertake safety measures as risk of infection at ATMs are the highest.

Hyderabad: In the time of novel coronavirus, safety measures must be strictly followed while withdrawing money from an Automatic Teller Machine to contain the spread of the infection.

ETV Bharat brings a list of precautions one can take while withdrawing cash from an ATM.

Covid-19 battle: Here are some precautionary measures on ATM usage
  1. Avoid opening the gate of the ATM with your hands. Use your shoulders instead.
  2. Always use tissue paper while entering your PIN number.
  3. Avoid keeping money into your pocket directly. Always stay sanitised
  4. Make sure you sanitise ATM cards and your hands properly every time you withdraw cash.
  5. Avoid disposing used tissue papers inside the ATMs.
  6. In case of non-cash related transactions, use online platforms.
