COVID-19: 8 people can participate in WhatsApp video and voice call

As people are spending 15 billion minutes on WhatsApp, especially during this time of COVID-19, WhatsApp has increased the group calling from 4 to 8 participants. Users have to update the new version of WhatsApp and avail this new feature.

As per a tweet and a blog by WhatsApp, it has doubled the limit from 4 participants to 8 participants in the WhatsApp video and voice call.

WhatsApp claims that this service will also work well with low key devices and slow network conditions. To use this new feature, one has to update the new version of WhatsApp. This hold true for both Andrioid and iphone users.
