Delhi: Taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for shying away from holding a press conference, Congress Wednesday mocked him saying "tum se na ho payega (you will not be able to do it)", in a tweet.

The Congress party's reaction came after the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) denied media reports of Modi holding a press conference in Varanasi on April 26, during his two-day visit to the temple city to file his Lok Sabha polls nomination.

The BJP has planned a grand affair on April 25 - 26 in Varanasi Parliamentary Constituency, with activities ranging from a road show to Ganga Aarti to be undertaken by Modi.
Congress president Rahul Gandhi has repeatedly attacked Modi, saying that he is "scared" to face a press conference.

Narendra Modi has often been criticised for not interacting with the media, except a few chosen one's, close to the ongoing Lok Sabha polls 2019.
