New Delhi: Union Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Friday launched a scathing attack at the Congress saying that the grand old party and corruption are made for each other. He went ahead to accuse Congress of turning corruption into a revolution which is not possible under the current government anymore.
Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said, "During the Congress government, a lot of corruption took place with the common individual's money which is not possible in the Modi government."
"Congress leaders who are alleging corruption in the current government should take a glance at what their senior leaders have done in past and how closely they have been attached with it," said Naqvi.
Speaking over Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's statement over FIR against celebrities who wrote to PM Modi on mob lynching, Naqvi said their leaders are playing a game of musical chairs and are now looking for a political shift.
This is because there is confusion in their policies and a division in leadership inside the party, he added.
The minister also slammed Congress' Priyanka Gandhi's remark over the Kashmir lockdown issue saying that those who create confusion about the situation in Jammu and Kashmir should have a positive mindset.
He reiterated saying that everything is alright in the valley.
