Deepak also stated that as China has enhanced its bilateral engagement with India over the years, China-Pakistan relation has also taken a neutral position.

"Even now as China remains the only country which has backed Pakistan on Kashmir issue at the United Nations. But it was not the wholehearted support. It was just to please Pakistan," said JNU academician Deepak.

Not only this, he also claimed that China is trying its best to balance out its relationship with India as it's domestic scenarios which include massive anti-government demonstrations in Hong Kong, atrocities against Muslims in Ulighar province and many others.

This will be Imran Khan's third visit to China since taking charge of his office on November 2018. His last visit to Beijing was in April when he attended the second Belt and Road Forum.
