Bhilwara: As the tension between India and China continues on the Line of Actual Control, retired Colonel Uday Singh Solanki, who was posted on the LAC in 1994-95, says that China is baffled because the Indian Army has strengthened its defence in the Indo-China border.
Retired Colonel, Bhilwara District Military Welfare Officer Uday Singh Solanki was in a special conversation with ETV Bharat regarding the Indo-China dispute on the LAC. Colonel Uday Singh Solanki had been posted on the LAC from 1914-95 as a company commander. He said that the main reason for the dispute between India and China is the violations of the decisions taken on the LAC. A few days ago, news about air firing has surfaced.
Retired Colonel Solanki says that in view of the expansionary policy of the Chinese Army, the Indian Army has also strengthened its own defence. It has acquired all the standing heights inside the area while improving the defence post. China would have never thought that the Indian Army would take such a big step. Now it has become very difficult for China to remove the Indian Army from there.
Indian army's strength is a bafflement to China
He explained the current geographical situation on the Indo-China border. Pangong Tso Lake is located on the hill near Line of Actual Control. To the south of this lake, is the mountain range. Spang Tso Lake is located in the south. There is a 5-km-wide gap in its west camp. The Indian Army has captured the heights on both sides of the gap for the first time since 1962. With this, the Indian Army has strengthened its defence on Reching La and Raging La. This strength of the Indian Army has left China baffled.

China is taking advantage of the worsening economic situation of the world
What will be the impact of the dispute between India and China on our country? Answering this question, Uday Singh Solanki said that no country would like to give even one inch of its land to some other country. China is implementing its expansionist policies, taking advantage of the worsening economic situation of the whole world. There were some rules on the border that both countries would respect the LAC. It was decided that both the countries would be four to five kilometres away from the LAC, but China has kept its army close to the border as part of its expansionary policy.
The Indian Army has become very strong. At present, they say that the Indian Army has become stronger than when compared to 1962. Our army is counted as one of the strongest armies all over the world. The biggest strength of the Indian army is its morale. Their morale is so strong that by fighting with the army of any country, they will win.
Appeal to honour the soldier's family
In order to increase the morale of the soldiers, he has appealed to the society to honour the families of the soldiers. He said that any soldier has a great desire for self-respect. The soldier's worries vanish when society gives respect to their family and does not trouble them.
