Raipur: Former chief minister Ajit Jogi's Janata Congress Chhattisgarh (Jogi) will contest polls from 2 seats out of the 11 Lok Sabha seats in the state. The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) will contest from the remaining 9 seats.
Jogi said that he would contest the polls from Korba and Dharamjeet Singh would contest from Bilaspur. As per sources, the alliance does not seem to have any issue with Jogi's selection of seats.
There were rumours that there has been a rift in JCC(J) and BSP alliance. However, Jogi has denied it.
Besides, the BSP has declared names of its 8 candidates till now.
