New Delhi: BJP has expressed its regret towards the Samajwadi Party patron Mulayam Singh Yadav who earlier spoke in favour of Azam Khan on the issue of the various allegation made against the later.
In an exclusive interview with ETV Bharat, Bizay Sonkar Shastri, the national spokesperson of BJP said that it is being doubtful that why a man like Mulayam Singh Yadav has taken the side of Azam Khan.
Azam Khan who allegedly disrespected the nation by making some derogatory remark against the country should not be supported, he said.
'It is not like BJP has made 27 charges against Azam Khan for any political reason, rather he made a lot of mistakes like forcefully captured lands, conducting fraudulent of land, occupied government lands through nonreliable means, making derogatory remarks against women and teasing them and so on," said Shastri.
About the allegation of injustice raised against the BJP government by Mulayam Singh Yadav, Shastri claimed that the government never does injustice with anyone either with Azam Khan or Shiv Kumar.
He further said that police had recovered a huge amount of unclaimed assets from their possessions.
Police are doing their job impartially, he said.
Meanwhile, Mulayam Singh's allegations are unjustified. He was going in a wrong way by supporting a fully corrupted man like Azam Khan, he added.
