New Delhi: Reacting to Kapil Sibal's statement after Bihar results, BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh said that Congress supported 'Tukde Tukde gang' and it is shattering itself day by day. Chugh also attacked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and called him 'non-performing asset' for Congress.
"Sibal's statement shows dissent against the Gandhi family in Congress clearly. The 23 leaders including Ghulam Nabi Azad and Kapil Sibal had earlier written a letter to Congress high command. Rahul Gandhi is 'non-performing asset' of the party. Its leaders are leaving the party", said Tarun Chugh.
Sibal hit out at the Congress party alleging that he was "compelled to speak publicly" as there is "no forum in the party to discuss party issues." He said that Congress needs efficient and senior leaders to manage elections.
Sibal added that the party has to acknowledge that it is "on a decline" and needs multiple ways to strengthen itself, ranging from organisational restructuring and media management.
Sibal was one of the 23 Congress leaders behind the 'dissent letter' that led to a wide rift within the party in August. Actually, it led to little changes besides the downgrading of key letter writers.
