New Delhi: The absence of any representative from the West Bengal government in the NPR meeting called by the central government has created a stir among BJP leaders.
Slamming All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) supremo Mamata Banerjee in this regard, BJP minister Babul Supriyo referred to it as part of Banerjee's 'immature and mindless politics'.
"The people will show her the way out of power in 2021," he asserted.
Supriyo also accused Mamata of allegedly provoking students during CAA protest.
He said: "Mamata Banerjee has no right to protest against CAA. It was her who provoked students to indulge in violence after three days of the implementation of CAA."
Taking a jibe at the AAP government in Delhi, the minister asserted that "The convicts of Nirbhaya gangrape have not yet received a punishment, the common man's public is no more working for the common man."
"The convicts are filing mercy petitions one after the other, thus allegedly delaying their execution. For how long will our law permit them to do this?" he questioned.
