New Delhi: Union Minister of State (MoS) for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy on Sunday came down heavily on accusations of Telegu Desam Party (TDP) after four of its MPs joined BJP.
He said that TDP does the horse trading while BJP remains a democratic party.
He also questioned TDP as to how N Chandrababu Naidu became Chief Minister after ousting NT Rama Rao.
Earlier, Four Rajya Sabha members of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) - YS Chowdary, CM Ramesh, TG Venkatesh and G Mohan Rao, tendered their resignations and switched over to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
The four MPs had submitted their resignation letters to M Venkaiah Naidu, Vice-President and Rajya Sabha chairman in Delhi.
The TDP has now been left with only two members in the upper house.
