Raipur (Chhattisgarh): A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) corporator Manoj Prajapati dumped a bag-full of sludge during a meeting inside Raipur Municipal Corporation House alleging laxity in municipality department on Tuesday.
He along with other BJP leaders protested against the inefficient functioning of the corporation. They alleged that the body is not working efficiently in their area. Amid slogan against the corporation, Prajapati dumped the entire black-coloured polybag filled with sludge on a red carpet in the House.
The video of the incident has surfaced online.
Prajapati's unusual way of protest came hours after Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticised Aakash Vijayvargiya, the son of BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya, by stating that arrogance and misbehaviour will not be tolerated.
Reacting to the act, Congress corporators, on the other hand, cleaned the house and raised slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
