According to officials, the municipal government approved a request to rename Ghaziabad on Tuesday. The three names—Harnandi Nagar, Gaj Prastha, and Doodheshwernath Nagar—will be forwarded to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who will make the ultimate decision, according to Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation (GMC) mayor Sunita Dayal.
