COVID-19: Bengaluru’s BBMP hospital sealed after P-465 dies, eight quarantined

Bengaluru’s BBMP Maternity Hospital in Mudala Palya area has been sealed after a 45 -year-old coronavirus patient died on Sunday while receiving treatment at the government hospital.

Bengaluru (Karnataka): The BBMP Maternity Hospital in Mudala Palya area of Karnataka’s Bengaluru has been sealed after P-465 - a 45 -year-old coronavirus patient died on Sunday while receiving treatment at the government hospital.

Eight medical staff members including two doctors, who came in contact with the patient, have been quarantined to stop further spread of the disease.

Patient no. 465 was diagnosed with Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI). She had a medical history of Pneumonia and was diabetic with a history of Tuberculosis, and her death has taken the COVID-19 fatalities in the state to 19.
