Tweeting with the hashtag, Owaisi said, "Babri Masjid thi, hai aur rahegi inshallah Babri Zinda Hai (Babri is alive and it will be alive forever)."
"The Prime Minister today said he was emotional. I want to say that I am also equally emotional because I believe in coexistence and equality of citizenship. Mr Prime Minister, I am emotional because a mosque stood there for 450 years," he claimed.
Meanwhile, the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) also questioned the Supreme Court judgement in Ayodhya ahead of the foundation stone laying ceremony.
On Twitter, it told its followers that there is “no need to be heartbroken”.
In a statement, AIMPLB general secretary Maulana Wali Rahmani said: “As the Supreme Court is the highest palladium of justice in our country, we have no option but to accept the judgment. However, we will definitely say that it was an unjust and unfair judgment.”
“The AIMPLB as the representative and the public platform of Indian Muslims and various other organisations spared no effort in their fight for justice for Babri Masjid,” he added.
