New Delhi: Air India Delhi-San Francisco flight caught fire at the Delhi airport, official sources said on Thursday.
According to reports, Boeing 777 flight caught fire in Auxiliary Power Unit (APU).
The incident was reported on Wednesday night. The officials said that the fire started during AC repair works and was doused off immediately.
Air India has termed it a minor incident and the plane was empty at the time of the repair work. Detailed inspection of the aircraft is underway.
