After attending the meeting, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury told media that Congress will attack the Central government by raising the issues like the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA), The National Register of Citizens (NRC) and the Economic Slowdown.
Besides this, the Lok Sabha MP said that a large number of youths are jobless in the country but the Centre does not show it's concern about such matters.
Congress leader K. Suresh said, " Among those who once supported CAA and NRC have changed their views and started raising their voice against this law. Hence, we are expecting that those parties will also join us to stage protest against the CAA and NRC".

Speaking about the allegations made by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) against the Popular Front of India (PFI) for providing monetary support to the CAA protestors, Suresh said that ED is just a follower of the Modi government which has used the agency according to its wish. The Modi government is using ED for their own benefits.
The anti-CAA protest which has been carrying out across the country made it clear that people no more want BJP in the Centre. Therefore, to prevent this resistance ED has made such baseless charges against the public, he added.
