Agitating farmers set up roti-making machines to ensure food supply

The protesting farmers have made arrangements to feed a large number of people. Their kitchens are running on a round the clock basis to ensure that all can eat without any issue.

Sonipat: With thousands of farmers protesting against the newly formed agriculture laws on the borders of the national capital, innovative arrangments have been made to feed them.

An ETV Bharat team covering the on-going farmers' agitation came across a special Roti-making machine. It can make over 900 Rotis in an hour.

Farmers have made arrangements to feed a large number of people. Their kitchen is running round the clock to ensure that all can eat without any issue.

A number of such Roti-making machines have been installed to ensure for all protestors.

Meanwhile, the protesting farmers have reiterated their resolve to continue with the strike until the government accept their demands to repeal the "anti-farmers" laws.

Narendra Modi-led government, which had vowed to double the farmer's income, enacted three farm laws related to the procurement and selling farm produce.

The farmers have been protesting against the laws terming them 'anti-farmer'.

Since the laws were enacted the farmers have expressed apprehension that the new laws disable the Minimum Support Price (MSP) system.
