New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday took exception to not being invited to all-party meeting on the India-China border face-off convened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Addressing a press meet here AAP leader Sanjay Singh accused the government for allegedly misleading the citizens by providing wrong information and demanded clarity on the issue.

Singh said, "A strange ego-ridden government is running at the Centre. The Aam Aadmi Party has a government in Delhi but still the BJP does not want AAP’s opinion on Galwan Valley clash matter."

"First the Central Government said that three soldiers have been martyred. After that, another statement came that 20 soldiers were martyred. After that, it was again said that no soldiers are in the possession of China, but on Thursday, it was learned through the media that as many as 10 soldiers were released by the Chinese Army. My question is that why the government is lying on such a serious issue," Singh said.

"We are standing with the soldiers at this difficult time and nobody should not do politics on this issue. Our demand is that the Indian government should take revenge on China for the martyrdom of our soldiers."

"Prime Minister should give a befitting reply to China. Our party stands with the Prime Minister in every decision. The land which is in possession of China should be taken back before April 1," he said.

"The Aam Aadmi Party has a government in Delhi. It is the main opposition party in Punjab. There are four MPs all over the country, but still, it is unfortunate that at the time of such a national crisis, we are not being called to an all-party meeting. Don't BJP leaders consider us important?," the AAP leader added.

"In times like these, there is a need to move forward while being united. The central government is only chanting 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas' but do not wish to take everyone along with it," Singh further added.
