Ramgarh: A fire broke out in a furnace oil factory in the Patratu industrial area of Ramgarh district in Jharkhand.
According to eyewitnesses, the fire was started by a suspected short circuit.
The fire brigade and local police station were informed of the incident, after which the firefighting vehicles of Patratu Jindal reached the spot to battle the blaze.
The fire and smoke were so fierce that there was darkness all around.
Efforts are being made to control the fire but so far property worth several lakhs have been damaged.
Ramgarh Police as well as CISF Commandant are present at the scene.
