Haridwar: The President of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad, Narendra Giri, committed suicide or whether he was murdered, remains a mystery. The CBI is investigating the matter. On the mysterious death of Narendra Giri, Baba Ramdev said that there should be a fair investigation in this matter. Baba Ramdev said that he would urge the government that the mystery of Mahant Narendra Giri's death should come to the public soon. So that such incidents do not recur again.

Swami Ramdev said that Narendra Giri was very strong and a loud voice of religion and culture. He can't die by suicide like that. He was a brave warrior and a sanyasi. His passing away in such a mysterious way is not believable. Swami Ramdev said that the Sant Samaj has suffered an irreparable loss due to his departure. Earlier, the body of Narendra Giri was found hanging from the fan in Baghambri Math of Prayagraj. A suicide note was also recovered from his room. His disciples, Anand Giri, Aadya Tiwari, who was the priest of the Hanuman temple, and his son Sandeep Tiwari were accused of harassment.

In the suicide note, Anand Giri was accused of making a video of Mahant Narendra Giri with a girl and blackmailing him through it. Anand Giri was arrested from Haridwar on the same day of the incident, Aadya Tiwari and her son Sandeep were arrested the next day and sent to jail.
