Kabul: There is chaos in Afghanistan since the Taliban gained control of Kabul after President Ashraf Ghani fled the country. People are desperate to leave the country somehow and escape Taliban rule. Scenes of chaos were seen at the Kabul Airport and elsewhere, while Taliban fighters can be seen enjoying and exercising in parks and gyms. Videos of Taliban fighters having fun have gone viral on social media. Taliban fighters can be seen riding in a bumper car ride in a video posted by senior Reuters reporter Hamid Shalizi. In another video widely shared on Twitter, a group of Taliban fighters can be seen riding a merry go round built for young children.

At the same time, in another video posted by freelance journalist Asaad Hanna, Taliban fighters are seen jumping on a trampoline. According to social media users, the video was shot by the Taliban in an amusement park in Herat, Afghanistan's third-largest city, after the city's capture. Apart from this, Taliban fighters were seen exercising in the gym of the President's Palace in a video. Often on social media, we see videos of Taliban atrocities against Afghan women, but this video is in stark contrast to the many videos of Taliban brutality and atrocities.

Just yesterday, in a video shared on Instagram, Sahraa Karimi, one of Afghanistan's foremost female filmmakers, was seen running through the chaos on the streets of Kabul. The video went viral with a message that the filmmaker had posted a few days back in which she talked about the atrocities being committed on the people of Afghanistan and urged everyone to spread her message widely.
