Nellore (Andhra Pradesh): In a shocking incident, residents of an apartment building locked a COVID-19-infected couple in their flat at Nellore city here.
The couple tested positive for COVID-19 10 days ago. Since then, the husband and wife were in home isolation. Their relatives were providing them with all essential supplies and medicines.

On Monday night, the couple ran out of medicines and their relatives were not available for help. Hence, the husband went out to the pharmacy and got all the required medicines.
On Monday morning, the neighbours, fearing they would contract the virus, locked the couple's house from outside, leaving them house-arrested.
The police later intervened and unlocked their flat.
