Bottle Lights
These are quite light the jar lights only a bit more ornate. Use bottles with a thin, long neck and decorate them with colourful cloth strings, glitter, etc, you can also draw over them with sketch pens or paint. Allow it to dry and then insert string lights inside the bottle and find a place to keep them. A set of 5 bottles kept together look mesmerizing.
Tree lights
This is one of the most Indian décor things to do on Diwali. We are used to seeing tree lights at weddings, and other functions. This might need a bit of hard work but it is not technical. You just need to wind the string lights around the trees and find a way to plug it and you are done!
