London: A passerby had a lucky escape when a section of wall collapsed during strong winds in London, missing him by a matter of seconds.

Surveillance footage showed a large pile of bricks hitting the pavement where the man had just been walking in Stoke Newington, northeast London on Sunday.

Gale-force winds and heavy rain hit parts of the UK over the weekend, with more stormy conditions forecast over the next few days.
