Hanoi: The White House said no agreement was reached between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un at the Vietnam summit on Thursday, but meetings would continue in the future.
Talks between Trump and Kim in Hanoi ended earlier than expected on Thursday.
The White House said 'no agreement was reached' between the two leaders, adding that meetings would continue in the future.
Trump and Kim were scheduled to have lunch but did not enter the dining room where reporters were assembled.
The US president returned with his delegation to his hotel in Hanoi, while there were no updates on a scheduled joint signing with Kim.
