Kathmandu: At least 50 people in Nepal have been killed, 21 missing and 26 others injured due to heavy floods and landslides in the last few days.
Local media reported that more than 2000 people have been rescued.
Nepal has been witnessing heavy rainfall, landslides, and mudslides since Thursday. In some parts of Nepal, roads are blocked and the vehicular movement is halted while communication towers are knocked down.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division in the 24 hours since Thursday evening, Simara station recorded the highest, 311.9 mm rainfall.
