Cucuta: US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Sunday reiterated that Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro must step down, saying his "usurpation must end".
Mimicking President Ronald Reagan's famous "Tear down this wall" speech in Berlin at the end of the Cold War, Pompeo also urged Maduro to lift a military blockade preventing the entry of tons of international humanitarian aid.
Pompeo was speaking after touring the Colombian border town of Cucuta with his host, President Ivan Duque.
They met Venezuelan migrants at a shelter, visited a warehouse where aid for Venezuela is stored, and together walked along the Simon Bolivar border bridge that links Colombia and Venezuela.
