Hyderabad: The makers of Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan's upcoming film Zara Hatke Zara Bachke film's trailer on Monday. The trailer launch event was held at PVR Cinema, Juhu in Mumbai. The movie, slated to hit the screens on June 2, is produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios.
Maddock Films also shared the trailer of Zara Hatke Zara Bachke on its official social media handles. The trailer got unveiled on Monday, ahead of Kaushal's birthday on May 16. Also starring Sharib Hashmi, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke is directed by Laxman Utekar of Luka Chuppi and Mimi fame. Shot extensively in Indore, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke is co-written by Maitrey Bajpai, Ramiz Ilham Khan, and Laxman. The film has music scored by the composer duo Sachin-Jigar.
The trailer hints at a romantic family drama set in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. In the film, Sara plays Soumya while the name of Vicky's character is Kapil. The trailer doesn't divulge much about the film's story and the conflict that Sara and Vicky are seemingly trying to stage. In the trailer, Sara and Vicky are seen trying to pull off a divorce drama but for what is not known. What all the trailer reveals is, the middle-class milieu and a newlywed couple struggling to steal some time together while living in a home bustling with members of their joint family.

Interestingly, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke will mark the first theatrical release for Sara in over three years. Her last theatrical release was Love Aaj Kal in 2020 following which she featured in the digitally released Coolie No. 1, Atrangi Re and Gaslight. Zara Hatke Zara Bachke will be a significant film Vicky too, as his last theatrical release Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship was before the pandemic.
