Hyderabad: Bollywood actor Urvashi Rautela is known for creating ripples on social media with her cryptic posts but on Sunday she made headlines for slamming a self-proclaimed film critic and journalist Umair Sandhu. Urvashi took to social media to react to Umair's claim of she was being 'harassed' by Telugu actor and Nagarjuna's son Akhil Akkineni.

Taking to Instagram, Urvashi shared a screenshot of Umari's tweet that reads, "#AkhilAkkineni “Harassed ” Bollywood Actress #UrvashiRautela during Item Song Shoot of #Agent in Europe. As per her, He is very immature kind of actor & feeling uncomfortable working with him." Urvashi denied Umair's claim and shared his tweet on Instagram with 'Fake' written over it.
Urvashi also shared that her legal team has initiated action against Umair for making her and her family 'extremely uncomfortable.' The actor wrote, "Defamation legal notice has been served by my legal team. Definitely disgruntled by indecent journalist like you for your spurious/ridiculous tweets. You’re not my official spokesperson. And yes you’re very immature kind of journalist who made me & my family extremely uncomfortable."

For the unversed, Umair often posts nasty, demeaning, and gossipy tweets about Bollywood personalities. He has a following of 23.9K on Twitter with bio that reads, "Member of Overseas Censor Board. Most Controversial No.1 South Asian Film Critic & Bollywood Adult Gossip Journalist.." Umair is known for targeting famous names like Salman Khan, Paran Kalyan, Sidharth Malhotra, and Shehnaaz Gill on social media. Recently he made headlines for making a derogatory remark about Celina Jaitly.
