Hyderabad: Global icon Priyanka Chopra stole the show with her red carpet appearance at the New York premiere of Love Again. The actor looked ravishing in a pastel blue gown, however, things didn't go as per plan, and the actor had an embarrasing fall infront of scores of paparazzi, fans and film crew, which left her mortified. The Citadel actor confessed in a recent interview that she fell on the red carpet due to her high heels.
She admitted that she felt 'mortified' when she collapsed in front of the press and paparazzi, but she was shocked that no photographers captured the incident. "I haven't talked about this because I try to find this thing on social media every day," she explained. But I was wearing incredibly high heels under the dress to make it look as tall as it did, and you know, the red carpet is packed with reporters and fans. And I fell on the carpet, on my shoes, all the way down on my buttocks," she added.
She went on to say that everyone turned off their cameras, which she had never witnessed in her 23-year long career. Priyanka said that the paparazzi told her not to be concerned and to take her time. "I was for a moment embarrased, but when I saw people doing that — they said, 'You're always so nice, we got this,' — I stood up."
"And there is no video of me falling," Priyanka explained. She went on to say that five people, including her husband Nick Jonas, 'swooped in' to save her after she fell. The dress was a fashion high for Priyanka Chopra. However, her red carpet presence at the Love Again premiere was not as flawless as it appeared in photographs.
Following her gorgeous Met Gala 2023 look, the actress stunned in the pastel blue off-the-shoulder gown from Nina Ricci's Fall Winter 2023 Collection. Harris Reed designed it, and it was made entirely of bleached denim, with an unusual, dramatic form and a large bow at the back.
