PDA alert! Ranveer Singh surprises Deepika Padukone with a kiss during interview, watch video

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh made a public display of affection by holding hands and exchanging kisses as the latter paid an unexpected visit to his wife during an interview.

Hyderabad: Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone, who was recently seen on the cover of Time magazine, had an unexpected visit from her actor-spouse Ranveer Singh during an interview. Deepika simply called his surprise visit a 'cosmic' coincidence. Ranveer said that he was filming next door and had the idea to surprise her. They also kissed as he greeted her on his arrival and left after his brief visit.

In the footage from Ranveer's unexpected visit, Deepika is being asked a question regarding marriage, and soon after the former appears on the site. He just says, "Have a great day," and starts to leave but Deepika informs him of the coincidence of his arrival and the marriage-related query. He says, "What a cosmic thing to have happened." When Deepika asks the interviewer to carry on, she is questioned about how long they have been married. They have been married for four and a half years, however, Ranveer added that they have been together for 10-11 years. The couple also hold hands as they chat about it, and then Deepika quips, "What are we doing?" to which Ranveer responds, "I just came to say hi."

Speaking about her marriage, Deepika says, "I love spending time, my husband and I. I mean I married my best friend. You know, I think the fact that we are just so goofy with each other. You know, I can feel like absolutely myself, my most vulnerable, my most clumsy, my most expressive. Yeah, we have known each other now for 10 years almost, so…. it's my happy place."

A few months ago, there were speculations about the pair going through a difficult time in their marriage, but neither of them brought it up in conversation. They only disproved the suspicions by appearing together in public. Ranveer and Deepika exchanged vows in November 2018 in a private ceremony near Lake Como in Italy.
