Hyderabad: Gulshan Devaiah, who co-starred in 8 AM Metro with Saiyami Kher, opened up about the film. Raj Rachakonda's slice-of-life drama was launched on Friday. In addition to discussing the film, the actor revealed personal experiences and discussed his divorce from his ex-wife Kalliroi Tziafeta.

The film was shot in Hyderabad. It centers around romance and drama, but with maximum honesty, as two strangers meet suddenly while boarding the Metro. They unclog many things in their lives together.

On being asked if he had an encounter with a stranger that left an indelible mark on him, Gulshan said, "I once met someone with whom I discussed my divorce, and she shared hers." "We found some refuge and comfort without being judged. But I can't say that meeting someone has made an indelible impression on me," he recalled.

While many celebrities are hesitant to share details about their personal life, Gulshan is an exception. "Some things are deeply personal to me, and I wouldn't share them with anyone else. You could have a broken marriage, but you don't have a broken relationship," he quipped.

"I consider myself fortunate. I also have to give thanks to my ex-wife Kallirroi for really making sure we didn't ruin anything. We didn't consider ourselves to be role models for society. This is because I have so many pals who can't tolerate even the mention of their ex," he added.

"That was never something I desired for myself. People believe it's difficult, but it isn't. We took our time and were not hurried. She is now my best friend. I'm not afraid to tell her anything. If I go on a date, I tell her I was out and something happened. She would do the same for me," the actor added.

"Sometimes I miss her. I miss having her close to me. I'm sure she does as well. Our relationship is going through a transition right now," Gulshan remarked with a smile. His film touches human emotions in the simplest of ways and opened to rave reviews. It is being compared to late Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan's The Lunchbox.
