Cupertino (California) :Taking Netflix, Amazon Prime and hordes of video streaming giants head on, Apple on monday announced the much-awaited Apple TV+ , Apple News+ ,Apple Arcade ,Apple card ,Apple Pay.
The Apple TV+ service --- an on-demand, ad-free subscription service launching this year in 100 countries -- will compete with services such as Netflix and Hulu with Apple investing heavily in its own content, while upgrading its TV application for third-party services."We believe deeply in the power of creativity," Apple chief executive Tim Cook said at the event at Apple headquarters in Cupertino, without revealing key details.
Meanwhile a new Apple News+ service at a cost of $9.99 per month will include the Los Angeles Times and Wall Street Journal, digital news sites and more than 300 magazine titles including Rolling Stone, Time, Wired and The New Yorker."We think Apple News+ will be great for customers and great for publishers," Cook said. Apple News+ was launched on monday in the US and Canada in English and French and will be available later this year in Britain and Australia, the company said.
Apple today announcedApple Arcade, a game subscription service that will feature over 100 new and exclusive games, including original releases from renowned creators Hironobu Sakaguchi, Ken Wong, Will Wright and dozens more. Apple Arcade games will redefine games and be curated based on originality, quality, creativity, fun and their appeal to players of all ages. Apple Arcade will give customers the freedom to try any game from its handpicked collection of titles that are all-you-can-play, have no ads, ad tracking or additional purchases, and respect user privacy.
The Apple Card is a full-fledged credit card with a unique number that will be given to you upon registration. The Apple Card lives within the Apple Wallet app and can be used internationally in any country where Apple Pay is accepted. With the Apple Card, the company is trying to simplify the application process, eliminate fees and encourage customers to pay less interest and making frequent payments.

Apple Pay feature will cross 10 billion transactions in 2019.ApplePay is easy and works with the Apple devices you use every day. You can make secure purchases in stores, in apps, and on the web. And you can send and receive money from friends and family right in Messages. ApplePay is even simpler than using your physical card, and safer too.
